Nong Thuy Hang was born in 1999, a Tay ethnic, from Ha Giang. She is 1.68m tall, with body measurements of 82-65-91cm. During high school, she was an excellent student for 12 consecutive years, won 3rd prize in the National Literature Contest, and was admitted directly to the National Economics University.

She was crowned Miss Ethnic Vietnam 2022 in July 2022. However, after the contest, she was not selected to compete internationally.
