According to the report of Nam Dinh Statistical Office, at the end of April, the total buffalo herd in the province was 7,489, an increase of 3.8%; the cow herd was 28,920, an increase of 1.3%; the pig herd (excluding piglets that have not been weaned) was 606,520, a decrease of 1.5%; the poultry herd was 9.21 million, an increase of 1.3%, of which the chicken herd was 6.58 million, an increase of 2.4% over the same period in 2024.
