The forum was attended by leaders from the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment ; leaders from departments, agencies, credit institutions, processing and export businesses, cooperatives, and farmers in the province.

At the forum, delegates assessed that passion fruit is a strategic crop for Gia Lai and the Central Highlands region. However, the passion fruit industry still faces many challenges such as price fluctuations, inconsistent quality standards, a lack of standardized raw material areas, and weak supply chain linkages.
The forum emphasized the urgent need to standardize production processes; strengthen traceability; expand linkages between farmers, cooperatives, and processing businesses; and strongly apply science and technology to meet the standards of demanding markets.

At the forum, delegates proposed solutions to create a foundation for the passion fruit industry in Gia Lai and other Central Highlands provinces to build a sustainable linkage model, contributing to enhancing the competitiveness of Vietnamese passion fruit products in the international market.
