RON95 gasoline price increased slightly, oil price decreased simultaneously

Specifically, the price of E5 RON92 gasoline decreased by 3 VND/liter, not higher than 19,861 VND/liter; conversely, the price of RON95 gasoline increased by 33 VND/liter, not higher than 20,596 VND/liter.

Meanwhile, the prices of all types of oil decreased. Diesel oil price decreased by 127 VND/liter, not higher than 18,255 VND/liter. Kerosene price decreased by 251 VND/liter, not higher than 18,566 VND/liter and fuel oil price decreased by 551 VND/kg, not higher than 15,574 VND/kg.

In this period, the regulatory agency continues not to set aside or use the gasoline price stabilization fund for all products.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade , the world oil market in this period (from December 5 to December 11) is affected by factors such as: increased geopolitical risks in the Middle East, OPEC+ cutting forecasts on oil demand growth in 2025, the ongoing military conflict between Russia and Ukraine...

The above factors have caused world oil prices to fluctuate up and down in recent days, depending on the product.

The average price of finished petroleum products in the world between the price adjustment period on December 5 and the adjustment period on December 12 was: 80.75 USD/barrel of RON92 gasoline used to blend E5 RON92 gasoline (down 0.010 USD/barrel); 84.114 USD/barrel of RON95 gasoline (up 0.178 USD/barrel); 86.7 USD/barrel of kerosene (down 1.44 USD/barrel); 86.874 USD/barrel of diesel (down 0.726 USD/barrel); 434.982 USD/ton of fuel oil (down 19.65 USD/ton).

In the operating period on December 5, the price of E5 RON92 gasoline increased by 24 VND/liter, not higher than 19,864 VND/liter. The price of RON95 gasoline decreased by 294 VND/liter, not higher than 20,563 VND/liter.

Meanwhile, diesel price decreased by 395 VND/liter, not higher than 18,382 VND/liter. Kerosene price decreased by 325 VND/liter, not higher than 18,817 VND/liter. Fuel oil price remained at 16,125 VND/kg as in the previous period.
