The price of RON 95-III gasoline (the most common type on the market) increased by 270 VND, to 21,010 VND per liter. E5 RON 92 increased by 380 VND, to 20,430 VND.
Similarly, oil products increased by 90-490 VND per liter. Compared to 7 days ago, diesel increased by 490 VND, to 19,240 VND. Kerosene and fuel oil increased to 19,240 VND and 16,180 VND per liter/kilogram, respectively.

This is the second fuel price adjustment since the beginning of 2025. Compared to the same period last year, each liter of gasoline is 900 VND lower, and diesel is 230 VND lower.
This year, the environmental protection tax on gasoline (excluding ethanol) remains at 2,000 VND per liter, according to a resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee. The tax rates for aviation fuel, diesel, fuel oil, and lubricating oil are 1,000 VND per liter; lubricating grease is 1,000 VND per kilogram; and kerosene is 600 VND per liter.
The Ministry of Finance estimates a budget revenue reduction of approximately 44,224 billion VND. However, this will be direct state support to help people and businesses recover, develop production and business, and promote socio-economic development.
