The incident occurred at 1am the same day, at Km09 on the Da Nang - Quang Ngai Expressway. Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police (Da Nang City Police) mobilized specialized vehicles and many officers and soldiers to rush to the scene.
At the scene, the authorities discovered 4 injured passengers who could not move on their own, and 1 driver trapped in the passenger car cabin due to the deformed front of the car. The rescue team brought the 4 passengers out safely, and used a hydraulic device to lift the cabin, rescue the driver and hand him over to the medical team.
The accident injured 4 people and they were taken to the emergency room, another person was slightly injured.
The cause of the accident is being investigated by the police.
