Tomorrow, December 13th, the first Tien Phong Half Marathon - 2025 will open at Van Phuc Urban Area (Ho Chi Minh City).

Speaking to reporters, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hoi, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports, assessed that Tien Phong newspaper's choice of Ho Chi Minh City to host the first amateur half marathon, along with a series of sporting events such as the pickleball tournament and the "One Nation" golf tournament, has contributed to enlivening the city's sports movement.

Mr. Hoi commented: "Along with other amateur and professional races in the city, the Tien Phong Half Marathon has created a vibrant picture, spreading to many areas from the city center to the surrounding areas."
According to Mr. Hoi, the unique characteristic of Ho Chi Minh City, with its expanding urban space, has created favorable conditions for combining sports events with promoting the image of a dynamic city, a city of events.

From December 12th to 14th, 2025, the first Tien Phong Half Marathon will take place in Van Phuc Urban Area – a modern urban area with integrated infrastructure and a green, clean, and safe environment.
The race includes three distances: 21.1 km, 10 km, and 5 km, for both men and women. The 21.1 km distance is divided into five age groups: 16-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and above, providing an opportunity for runners of all ages to challenge themselves.
The time limits were set as follows: 3 hours 30 minutes for 21.1 km, 2 hours 30 minutes for 10 km, and 1 hour 30 minutes for 5 km.
