Director of Dak Lak Department of Education and Training 'forbids' Department officials from blocking Zalo

On August 15, during a discussion with the staff of the Department of Culture and Society in Dak Lak province, Dr. Le Thi Thanh Xuan - Director of the Department of Education and Training shared the difficulties in implementing the 2-level local government from July 1.

In particular, the staff and civil servants of the Department of Culture and Society undertake heavy work managed by 7 departments. In particular, many departments currently do not have specialized staff trained in pedagogical skills, affecting the implementation of the assigned state management function of education .

Regarding concerns about the focal point for receiving, processing information and supporting the implementation of educational management tasks between the Department and the People's Committees of communes, Dr. Le Thi Thanh Xuan requested that officials and civil servants of the Department of Education and Training publicly disclose their phone numbers and emails. In particular, do not "block" Zalo, and regularly update information via email to synthesize information and propose recommendations from the People's Committees of communes. Provide timely advice to the Provincial People's Committee to direct the implementation throughout and effectively.

"Any official assigned to be the focal point for receiving information must publicly disclose their phone number and email to the People's Committees of the communes. Once provided, they must answer the phone and not "block". If provided but not answered, and blocking Zalo friends is useless," said Dr. Le Thi Thanh Xuan.

The Director of the Department of Education and Training also requested that the Department's officials and civil servants coordinate with the Department of Culture and Social Affairs of communes to establish a channel for exchanging information on work related to educational management quickly and effectively.

From July 1, 2025, Dak Lak province has 102 communes/wards. According to initial statistics, 64/102 communes do not have officials and civil servants in the Education sector working at the Department of Culture - Social Affairs under the People's Committee at the commune level.
