Help over 35 thousand women members borrow capital to develop production

Over the past 5 years, the Women's Union of Hung Yen province has been entrusted by the Social Policy Bank, Provincial Branch, and the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, Provincial Branch, to help over 35,000 women members borrow capital to develop production and increase income.

Every year, the association at all levels   Women's Union   Coordinated loan demand surveys, examined and connected with credit officers to establish documents to ensure the right subjects. At the same time, organized thousands of training courses to transfer science and technology in plant and animal care, helping members use capital effectively. Up to now, the total outstanding loan balance from the two banks has reached over 7,000 billion VND. Through the entrustment activities, the association at all levels has helped over 7,000 women escape poverty, many households have risen to become rich legitimately, contributing to reducing the poverty rate of the whole province to 0.44%.

From credit capital through the Women's Union of Long Hung commune, Ms. Nguyen Thi Dung invested in growing mushrooms, earning hundreds of millions of dong per year.

In the coming time, the association at all levels will continue to use savings and loan groups to better play the role of a "bridge" to support female members in borrowing capital. At the same time, promote propaganda,   Disseminate credit policies; strengthen inspection, supervision, and guide borrowers to use capital effectively; integrate trust activities with the association's programs and projects, especially the project "Supporting women to start businesses"...   to improve the quality of trust operations with banks.
