MK Construction Investment Joint Stock Company proposed that Ninh Thuan province soon approve the specific land price of Phu Ha New Urban Area Project so that the enterprise can fulfill its financial obligations.

Mr. Le Huyen, Vice Chairman of Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee, recently inspected and worked with MK Construction Investment Joint Stock Company on the progress of the Phu Ha New Urban Area Project.

At the meeting, according to the report of MK Construction Investment Joint Stock Company, by October 31, the Project had completed 100% of the site clearance work; the construction of the technical infrastructure system had reached over 90%, and it is expected that the entire Project infrastructure will be completed by November 2024.

For the construction on land, the investor is completing the basic design and preparing a feasibility study report for the rough construction of 65 commercial houses and townhouses. Construction is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2025.

MK Central City Social Housing Area is pouring concrete on the second floor, the volume has reached about 20% of the total project. According to the investor, by the end of October 2024, the project will basically meet the progress according to the approved plan.

Previously, at the project groundbreaking ceremony on April 16, 2024, Mr. Nguyen Tien Nghi, General Director of MK Construction Investment Joint Stock Company, informed that the enterprise is expected to complete the construction of the technical infrastructure system in the third quarter of 2024 and start construction of the MK Central City Social Housing project. The plan is that by the end of 2025, social housing will be handed over for exploitation and use, serving the housing needs of low-income people in the province.

The investor also proposed that the People's Committee of Ninh Thuan province soon approve specific land prices so that the Company can fulfill its financial obligations.

In addition, the Company also proposed the Department of Construction of Ninh Thuan province to organize the acceptance of a number of items of the MK Central City Social Housing Project and the technical infrastructure system of the Phu Ha New Urban Area Project to organize the handover and put into use as planned.

Regarding the business recommendations, Mr. Le Huyen, Vice Chairman of Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee, directed relevant sectors and units to promptly complete and promulgate specific land prices to calculate land use fees for the project as a basis for investors to fulfill their financial obligations to state agencies before organizing the acceptance of completion and putting into use the technical infrastructure works.

Regarding MK Central City Social Housing, the Vice Chairman of Ninh Thuan Province requested the Department of Construction to urgently organize an inspection of the acceptance of the completion of underground and foundation items of the project, and legal procedures related to the project's eligibility for sale.

At the same time, the Department of Construction guides and organizes the acceptance of the completion of the project's technical infrastructure system to organize the handover and put it into use according to plan.

The goal is for sectors and localities to support investors to strive to complete social housing before October 2025 to serve as a project to welcome the Party Congress and as a model project to be replicated in the coming time.

The Phu Ha New Urban Area Project, Phan Rang - Thap Cham City was approved by the Provincial People's Committee for investment policy on August 10, 2021 and adjusted on January 5, 2024. The project is implemented with a land area of ​​7.07 hectares (of which the project implementation area is 5.06 hectares) right in the center of Phan Rang - Thap Cham City. The total investment capital is more than 641 billion VND.

The project will provide housing products including 95 commercial townhouses; 125 townhouses with various areas. In addition, the MK Central City Social Housing Area located within the project area has an area of ​​5,694 m2, 16 floors high, including 2 towers with a total of 350 apartments.

It is known that on October 23, 2024, the Department of Construction granted a construction permit to MK Construction Investment Joint Stock Company to construct traffic and technical infrastructure projects (rainwater drainage, wastewater, water supply; electricity, lighting, etc.) of the Phu Ha New Urban Area Project (phase 2).
