Meritorious Artist Xuan Hinh is the eldest son in a family of 7. He has experienced many ups and downs, struggling since childhood to support his parents and take care of his younger siblings.

"Since I was 13 years old, I started trading, experiencing many ups and downs, bitterness, resentment, anger... Up until now, my life has been quite difficult, but I don't want to say it because if I say it, it will only make my siblings and family sad and think a lot. My family has 7 siblings and I am the eldest child, so I have to take care of and shoulder many chores in the family" - the artist recounted.

As the eldest brother in the family, artist Xuan Hinh has been aware of his responsibility since childhood, helping his parents with small tasks such as cooking, sweeping the house, washing dishes... to trading, helping with part of the family's finances .

"My father passed away at the age of 51, at that time I was still in school, but had already gone into business. When my father was sick, I took care of everything, but after taking care of everything, I only had two taels of gold left in my hand. When I had a little reputation in the profession, he was no longer there to witness it. That is my biggest regret" - artist Xuan Hinh choked up as he said.

Xuan Hinh admits that he is just a "folk humorist" - someone who brings laughter to ease the pain of everyday life. He chose to stay with art not for the glory, but for a very simple reason: "I do my best, and then the profession gives me back what I deserve. That is enough."

During the program, artist Xuan Hinh also reunited with Thanh Thanh Hien and recalled many years of working together. At the beginning of the conversation, Thanh Thanh Hien emotionally said that it had been a long time since she had the feeling of standing on stage with artist Xuan Hinh.

Thanh Thanh Hien recounted her first impression of Xuan Hinh when she first saw him perform in the play "Student Love Story": "Hien thought it was so good that she ran straight to the makeup room. Anh Hinh looked at Hien, in a cold manner, smiled selfishly and then left. I don't know if he knew who I was at that time... But then later, he took the initiative to find Hinh to work on a work together."

Meritorious Artist Thanh Thanh Hien commented that her senior is an extremely considerate person, working with everyone wholeheartedly, and that person must also be good. The criteria for artist Xuan Hinh to choose his co-stars are: they must be good, beautiful, and decent.

After nearly 3 decades as co-stars, Xuan Hinh and Thanh Thanh Hien still maintain their precious feelings for each other.

Artist Xuan Hinh said: "If there is anything to explain, it is to the audience, not to my wife. But in the past, there was no Facebook, so we just kept quiet."

Thanh Thanh Hien shared that artist Xuan Hinh is not only a colleague but also a spiritual support: "He always stands up to protect me, feels sorry for me whenever something bad happens. He even feels sad with me. So I don't dare to be sad. Usually, every time I see Hinh, I have to be happy."

Xuan Hinh was born in 1960 in Bac Ninh , is a famous comedian with the nickname "King of Northern Comedy". He comes from the art of Cheo and is known for his folk skits, full of Northern character. Thanh Thanh Hien was born in 1969 in Hanoi , is a prominent Cai Luong artist in the North. She has been singing since she was young, impressing with her soulful voice and diverse styles, from Cai Luong to folk songs and bolero. Off stage, she has been through two marriages and currently lives independently, still working regularly in the arts.
