Ha Giang selects 4 A prizes at the 2nd Party building journalism awards ceremony

The 2nd Golden Hammer and Sickle Award of the Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee - 2023 includes 4 categories: Printed newspaper; electronic newspaper; radio; television. Determining that the award has a particularly important political significance, after the Provincial Party Committee launched the Award and on the basis of the province's directive documents, the District Party Committees, City Party Committees, affiliated Party Committees; the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations; departments, branches, press and media agencies have developed plans, directive documents and actively propagated and mobilized cadres, party members, members, journalists, reporters and people of all walks of life to actively participate in responding to the Award.

After 9 months of launching, the Organizing Committee received 388 entries. Of which, 367 entries were from 15 provincial Party Committees; 21 entries were from newspapers outside the province such as: Ho Chi Minh City Literature and Arts Magazine, Law Protection Newspaper, Elderly Magazine, Culture and Arts Magazine; Ethnic Language Television Department, Vietnam Television; Justice Newspaper; People's Television, People's Newspaper.

The Organizing Committee has agreed, selected and awarded 40 excellent works including: 4 A prizes; 8 B prizes; 12 C prizes and 16 Encouragement prizes.

According to the Organizing Committee's assessment, most of the works participating in the 2nd Party Building Journalism Award in 2023 have rich and diverse content and forms of expression. Many journalistic works have invested intelligence and time; exploited issues in depth, multi-dimensionally, closely following reality, accurately, accurately and promptly reflecting issues in Party building, rectification, and building the political system.

At the summary and award ceremony, comrade Thao Hong Son, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and provincial leaders performed the button-pressing ceremony to launch the 3rd Provincial Party Committee's Journalism Award on Party building and the 2nd Political Contest to protect the Party's ideological foundation in 2024.
