Resolution No. 29 of the Hanoi City People's Council has just approved the investment plan for the construction project of the My Dinh – Ba Sao – Bai Dinh road, the section connecting from the Southern arterial road to the Huong Son – Tam Chuc road in My Duc and Ung Hoa districts.
The project's investment aims to contribute to the completion of the My Dinh – Ba Sao – Bai Dinh route according to the approved plan, and to strengthen regional connectivity between Hanoi city and the provinces of Ha Nam , Ninh Binh, and Hoa Binh.
According to the planned investment scale, the total length of the section is over 13km, with a cross-section of 21m. Previously, out of the entire 92.5km route, 79.3km has been and is being invested in.

The city will construct four interchanges: the interchange with the Southern arterial road (at the beginning of the route); the interchange with National Highway 21B; the interchange with the Huong Son inter-communal road; and the interchange with the Huong Son – Tam Chuc road. Bridges will be built over the Day River and the Chau Giang River along the route.
The My Dinh-Ba Sao-Bai Dinh road project will enhance inter-regional connectivity between Hanoi and the provinces of Ha Nam, Ninh Binh, and Hoa Binh , facilitating convenient transportation between the city center and southern districts, and reducing congestion on National Highway 21B…
According to the Hanoi City People's Council, the My Dinh-Ba Sao-Bai Dinh road project belongs to group A, involving the construction of integrated technical infrastructure and the installation of a traffic management system, with a total estimated investment of over 2,500 billion VND from the city's budget. The implementation period is from 2023 to 2025.
The project investor is the City's Investment and Construction Project Management Board for Transportation Works. The City People's Council assigned the project investor to study and develop urban design plans for both sides of the road, plans for intersections with existing residential areas, the Ring Road 5 intersection, and other transportation projects, ensuring investment efficiency.
