Hanoi inspected more than 116 gold trading establishments.

Authorities in Hanoi will inspect 116 establishments from manufacturing to trading gold, silver and jewelry in the area to handle violations.

The Hanoi Market Management Department (QLTT) informed that this unit has issued a plan to inspect gold trading activities in the area.

Market management agency inspected a gold shop in Hanoi in April 2024.

As planned, the inspection will take place from August 15 to October 15 at 116 enterprises, including enterprises that produce, process, trade, buy, sell, and repair gold jewelry and fine arts.

According to SGGP Newspaper's investigation, among the inspected enterprises are big names such as Bao Minh Jewelry Company, Bao Tin Jewelry Company Limited, Huy Thanh Jewelry Company Limited...

The inspection content focuses on legal issues such as business registration certificates, business eligibility certificates, price listing, compliance with intellectual property regulations, origin of goods, regulations on measurement, quality, product labeling as well as regulations on e-commerce.

Authorities informed that if any signs of violations are detected, the inspection force will take samples for quality testing and handle them according to regulations.
