On the evening of September 9th, in Hanoi , the Central Propaganda Department held an awards ceremony to honor collectives and individuals who have achieved outstanding results in creating and promoting literary, artistic, and journalistic works on the theme "Studying and following the thoughts, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh" during the period 2021-2023.

Attending the ceremony were Standing Member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee - Head of the Central Organization Department Truong Thi Mai; Standing Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man ; Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia; and Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan.

The award for creating and promoting literary, artistic, and journalistic works on the theme "Studying and following the thoughts, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh" for the period 2021-2023 was organized in the context of the first half of the 13th Party Congress term.

Ms. Truong Thi Mai, Standing Member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee and Head of the Central Organization Department, presented the special prize to the representative of the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Association for their work, "Panorama Round Painting: The Historic Victory of Dien Bien Phu" (Acrylic material).

From over 1,292 entries and promotional achievement records of collectives and individuals, the Awards Council selected 284 outstanding works, collectives, and individuals to receive awards, including: 1 special prize; 11 A prizes; 55 B prizes; 89 C prizes; 82 consolation prizes; and 46 collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in promotional activities who met the criteria for commendation (35 collectives, 11 individuals).

In particular, Ha Tinh Newspaper and Ha Tinh Radio and Television Station were awarded the collective prize; People's Artisan Nguyen Ban was awarded the individual prize for his outstanding achievements in promoting literary, artistic, and journalistic works on the theme "Studying and following the thoughts, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh".

The work "We are so proud of Vietnam," a photo series by author Nguyen Thanh Hai (a member of the Photography Association), received the A prize.

In addition, Ha Tinh province had 1 work that won the B prize, 2 works that won the C prize, and 3 works that won the consolation prize.

Specifically: The journalistic work "Uncle Ho with Ha Tinh - Ha Tinh follows Uncle Ho's teachings," by the team of authors: Duong Phuong, Tuan Anh, Tu Hai, Hoang Son, Minh Chien - Ha Tinh Provincial Radio and Television Station, won the B prize in the television category;

The work "I learn from Uncle Ho every day, the happiest moment is when I can contribute," by author Vu Huyen (Vu Vien) - Ha Tinh Newspaper, in the online journalism category, won the C prize;

The work: "The land and water are grateful to God in the mother's lullaby," by author Ngoc Trinh (Ha Tinh City), majoring in music, won the C prize.

The following works received honorable mentions: “Late Noon on the Harbor” by Dang Thien Chan, acrylic painting; “Ha Tinh Remembers the Gratitude to the Leader” by Quoc Dung (Ha Tinh Traditional Arts Theatre), music major; and “The Beauty of the Hospital” by Dau Thanh Binh, photography major.

Speaking at the ceremony, Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia emphasized: Creating and promoting literary, artistic, and journalistic works on the theme of "Studying and following the thoughts, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh" is an extremely necessary and profoundly meaningful undertaking, contributing to the effective implementation of Conclusion 01-KL/TW of the Politburo on continuing to implement Directive No. 05-CT/TW and Resolution of the 9th Conference of the Central Committee (11th term) on "building and developing Vietnamese culture and people to meet the requirements of sustainable national development." This will unleash the inherent strength of the entire nation in the cause of building, developing, and protecting the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland.

Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia acknowledged and commended the agencies, units, collectives, and individuals who have shown dedication, responsibility, and innovative and effective approaches in disseminating information, guiding, motivating, and attracting all segments of the population, as well as directly participating in the creation and promotion of literary, artistic, and journalistic works on the theme of "Studying and following the thoughts, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh."

To contribute to the implementation of the Party's 13th National Congress Resolution and continue to contribute to building a prosperous nation, Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia emphasized that one of the key tasks and solutions is to continue promoting the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, and style, in conjunction with the implementation of Central Committee resolutions on Party building and rectification, and building a clean, strong, and capable Party and political system. Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia requested the Central Propaganda Department and relevant agencies from the central to local levels, as well as artists, intellectuals, journalists, cadres, Party members, and the people, to continue promoting the creation and dissemination of literary, artistic, and journalistic works on the theme of "Studying and Emulating Ho Chi Minh's Thought, Morality, and Style" during the 2023-2025 period; contributing practically to improving the effectiveness of propaganda work, spreading and arousing patriotism, strength, cultural values, and the Vietnamese people.
