Hai Duong, Vietnam Airlines sign cooperation agreement for the period 2024-2030

The signing of a cooperation agreement between Hai Duong and Vietnam Airlines for the period 2024-2030 will open up many new development opportunities for both sides in the coming time.

On the afternoon of August 21, at the Eastern Cultural Center, the People's Committee of Hai Duong province and Vietnam Airlines Corporation held a conference to sign a memorandum of understanding on cooperation for the period 2024-2030.

Attending the conference were comrades: Tran Duc Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Dang Ngoc Hoa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Airlines.

Leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, leaders of relevant departments, branches and sectors in the province, and leaders of Vietnam Airlines also attended.

In the presence of leaders of both sides, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Luu Van Ban and General Director of Vietnam Airlines Le Hong Ha signed a memorandum of cooperation between the People's Committee of Hai Duong province and Vietnam Airlines for the period 2024-2030.

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Hung informed about some of the province's potentials and strengths in socio -economic development as well as the province's planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050. Emphasizing the advantages of Hai Duong such as being located in the economic growth triangle of Hanoi-Hai Phong-Quang Ninh, on the economic corridor of Kunming-Lao Cai-Hanoi-Hai Phong-Quang Ninh... The investment and business environment in Hai Duong is increasingly attractive...

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Hung emphasized that the cooperation agreement will contribute to promoting the development of Hai Duong and Vietnam Airlines in many fields.

Hai Duong is also a province with many famous historical, cultural and scenic sites. The province is coordinating with Quang Ninh and Bac Giang to complete the scientific dossier of the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son, Kiep Bac Monuments and Landscape Complex to submit to UNESCO for recognition as a world heritage site in 2025.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Hung emphasized that the cooperation agreement between Hai Duong and Vietnam Airlines is of great significance, contributing to promoting the development of tourism, trade, investment, aviation activities and calling for investment as well as cultural exchange between domestic and international regions.

He affirmed that the cooperation between Hai Duong and Vietnam Airlines is an opportunity to research and form typical tourism products, services and routes; promote information and images of natural resources, historical and cultural relics, potentials and strengths of tourism development of the province and the image and brand of Vietnam Airlines in the domestic and international markets.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Hung affirmed that Hai Duong is committed to close cooperation, dedicating resources and creating favorable conditions to effectively implement the cooperation content with Vietnam Airlines.

Vietnam Airlines General Director Le Hong Ha affirmed that the cooperation will contribute to enhancing the position and image of Hai Duong destination both domestically and internationally.

At the conference, Vietnam Airlines General Director Le Hong Ha emphasized that Hai Duong is famous for its lychee specialty, a gift that Vietnam Airlines has been and will continue to serve on its flights. In the near future, Vietnam Airlines will organize a program to promote Vietnamese tea culture and Hai Duong green bean cake will be an indispensable product of the program.

With the cooperation agreement, Vietnam Airlines will coordinate to promote the destination image and strong products of Hai Duong province not only domestically, but also globally through the airline's extensive flight network and diverse media.

Hai Duong and Vietnam Airlines will jointly research and develop tourism products and routes; coordinate the organization of large-scale events at national and regional levels. Thereby, contributing to enhancing the position and image of Hai Duong destination both domestically and internationally, as well as contributing to promoting the strong socio-economic development of the province.

The memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the People's Committee of Hai Duong province and Vietnam Airlines for the period 2024-2030 clearly states three purposes of cooperation, including strengthening coordination and cooperation to develop the fields of investment, trade, tourism and aviation. Developing policies to support and prioritize the effective use of products and services of both sides, in compliance with relevant laws. Strengthening promotional activities, promoting tourism - aviation - investment - trade, promoting the image of culture and tourism of Hai Duong province, socio-economic development activities of the province, affirming the role between the People's Committee of Hai Duong province and Vietnam Airlines, aiming to be partners of each other in the process of operation and development.

To implement the cooperation contents, Hai Duong will provide information and images of the most famous destinations, historical relics, and scenic spots of the province; large regional and national festivals; typical products, industrial products, small-scale industries, and craft villages; typical images of agricultural production areas and specialty products of the province; annual diplomatic, cultural, and trade promotion activities of the province.

Build and create favorable conditions for an open investment environment, tourism infrastructure... to facilitate Vietnam Airlines in researching cooperation and investment. Support the introduction of Vietnam Airlines' products and services on the provincial media, introduce them to businesses and traders in the province...

Vietnam Airlines is responsible for promoting information about destinations, festivals, tourism events, diplomatic and cultural activities, and annual trade and investment promotion activities of Hai Duong province in Heritage Magazine (Vietnam Airlines' magazine); the "Destination" column on the entertainment screen of the aircraft; displaying leaflets and tourism publications, putting images of typical products, industrial products, handicrafts, craft villages, agricultural products, and special cuisine of Hai Duong on leaflets and tourism publications displayed at airline ticket offices, airport lounges, and domestic and international tourism promotion events.
