Two teachers in their 50s passed the 2024 high school graduation exam

The two teachers above are candidates taking the 2024 high school graduation exam at the exam site of Phu Hoa town secondary school, Chu Pah district.

Previously, as reported by Tuoi Tre Online , the 2024 high school graduation exam in Gia Lai province had two special candidates: two teachers nearly 50 years old working at two primary schools in Ia Grai district.

Specifically, Mr. Rơ Châm Ui is a cultural studies teacher at Bùi Thị Xuân Primary School, Ia O commune, Ia Grai district. Mr. Rơ Châm Un is a cultural studies teacher at Cù Chính Lan Primary School, Ia Chia commune, Ia Grai district.

Teacher Rơ Châm Ui has over 20 years of experience in the education sector. Previously, Mr. Ui graduated from a 9+3 teacher training program at the intermediate level, so he was not awarded a high school diploma.

It wasn't until 2020, when new regulations on standardizing qualifications were introduced, that Mr. Ui decided to attend the Vocational Education and Continuing Education Center in Chư Păh district to obtain his missing high school diploma.

Meanwhile, to receive his high school diploma, Mr. Rơ Châm Un had to take the exam a second time. In the 2023 exam, Mr. Un failed to graduate.

Mr. Un has 28 years of experience in the education industry. The school where Mr. Un is teaching is a border school with Cambodia.

Sharing with reporters, teacher Un said he tried to take the exam to set an example for his students about studiousness and also to improve his own qualifications.
