Many public universities are conducting supplementary admissions for health science programs.
Hai Duong University of Medical Technology is recruiting an additional 80 students for two health science majors. Specifically, the nursing major will recruit 60 students and the rehabilitation engineering major will recruit 20 students. The minimum admission score for the 2023 high school graduation exam is 19, based on the B00 combination (mathematics, chemistry, biology). For the admission method using academic transcripts, the minimum admission score is a GPA of "good" or higher in grade 12, or a high school graduation exam score of 6.6 or higher. The deadline for submitting applications is September 5th.
Nam Dinh University of Nursing announces the first round of supplementary admissions: 170 places available. This includes 100 places for the Nursing program (code 7720301) and 50 places for the Midwifery program (code 7720302). The minimum application score for candidates applying based on the 2023 high school graduation exam is 19 points or higher for both programs. For candidates applying based on academic transcripts, applicants must have a GPA of "good" or higher in grade 12, or a graduation exam score of 6.5 or higher, and a total admission score of 19 or higher. The university accepts applications online from September 7th to 5 PM on September 14th through the university's website.
Hai Phong University of Medicine and Pharmacy announces the supplementary admission of 35 students for the Preventive Medicine major using the academic transcript-based admission method. Admission requirements include: high school graduates from 2021, 2022, and 2023 with a grade of "good" or higher in their 12th grade, or a high school graduation exam score of 6.5 or higher, and who have not yet confirmed their enrollment on the Ministry of Education and Training's system. Applicants must submit their applications before 5 PM on September 8th, either in person at the university or via registered express mail. The university will announce the admission results on September 11th on its website.
Buon Ma Thuot University of Medicine and Pharmacy announces supplementary admissions for 60 places, with applications accepted until September 8th, using three methods: based on high school graduation exam scores, based on high school academic transcripts, and based on the National University of Ho Chi Minh City's aptitude test scores. Specifically, Pharmacy will have 30 places, Nursing 20, and Public Health 10.

Additional admissions for medical programs are being conducted through multiple methods.
Nguyen Tat Thanh University announces that it will continue accepting supplementary applications until 5 PM on September 10th. Applications are accepted through four methods: high school graduation exam scores, average GPA, National University of Ho Chi Minh City's aptitude test scores, and National University of Hanoi's aptitude test scores. The supplementary admission scores for the medical program using these methods are, in order: 23.5; 8.4; 650; and 85. For the pharmacy program, the scores are 21; 8; 570; and 70. The nursing, rehabilitation technology, medical laboratory technology, and preventive medicine programs all have the same admission scores: 19; 6.5; 550; and 70.
Van Lang University is conducting supplementary admissions through three methods: high school graduation exam scores, academic transcript scores, and aptitude test scores. For the health sciences sector, excluding dentistry, the university is conducting supplementary admissions for all other majors. Specifically, the medical major requires a minimum score of 22.5 (high school graduation exam); 24 points (academic transcript); and 750 points (aptitude test). The pharmacy major requires scores of 21, 24, and 750 points respectively. The nursing and medical laboratory technology majors require scores of 19, 19.5, and 700 points. In addition to the above application scores, candidates must also meet the minimum quality assurance thresholds set by the Ministry of Education and Training.

Tan Tao University announces the supplementary admissions process for its regular undergraduate programs using the 2023 high school graduation exam scores, high school transcripts, and the 2023 National University of Ho Chi Minh City's aptitude test scores, from August 24th to September 15th. The minimum admission score for the medical program using the high school graduation exam score method is 22.5 points. For other health-related programs, the minimum score is 19 points, while for economics, information technology, English language, and biotechnology programs, the minimum score is 15 points. Applications for the second round of supplementary admissions should be submitted to Tan Tao University from August 24th to September 15th.
Phan Chau Trinh University is accepting applications for the second round of admissions for the following majors: Medicine and Dentistry, with a minimum score of 22.5 on the high school graduation exam; a minimum score of 25 on the high school transcript; and a minimum score of 700 on the aptitude test. Applicants must be no older than 27 years old as of September 1st and must have achieved an excellent academic record in grade 12 when considering both transcript scores and the aptitude test. Nursing and Medical Laboratory Technology require a minimum score of 19 on the high school graduation exam; 19.5 on the high school transcript; and 600 on the aptitude test (applicants must have achieved a "good" or higher academic record in grade 12 when considering both transcript scores and the aptitude test).

Hong Bang International University is conducting supplementary admissions based on the following methods: 2023 high school graduation exam scores, academic transcripts, Ho Chi Minh City National University's aptitude test scores, and SAT scores. The deadline for supplementary admissions is September 6th. The health science programs include: Medicine, Medicine (English program), Dentistry, Dentistry (English program), Traditional Medicine, Pharmacy, Pharmacy (English program), Nursing, Nursing (English program), Midwifery, Medical Laboratory Technology, and Rehabilitation Technology.
Duy Tan University also announced supplementary admissions for several health science majors, including medicine and dentistry. The admission scores for these two majors are 22.5 points (high school graduation exam score); 24 points (academic transcript); 750 points (National University of Ho Chi Minh City's aptitude test score); and 85 points (National University of Hanoi's aptitude test score). For the academic transcript and aptitude test admission methods, in addition to the above scores, candidates must also have achieved a "good" or higher academic performance in their 12th grade year or a high school graduation exam score of 8.0 or higher. The university accepts applications from September 9th to September 17th.
