Digital gear for women-owned businesses

On the afternoon of December 5, the Thanh Hoa Women Entrepreneurs Association coordinated with the Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Council and the Asia Foundation in Vietnam to organize a workshop on “Digital gear for women-owned businesses”. The workshop is part of the project “Supporting the development of women-owned businesses in Vietnam”.

Leaders of the Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Council spoke at the workshop.

The workshop attracted the participation of nearly 100 female business members in Thanh Hoa province.

The workshop aims to provide useful information on digital technology application solutions, promote digital transformation, and help women-owned businesses make the most of the benefits brought by digital technology. At the same time, it helps businesses equip themselves with basic knowledge of “digital defense” to develop breakthroughs in the digital economy .

The presentations at the workshop revolved around the topic of digital economic development, opportunities and challenges for Vietnamese enterprises in general, and female-owned enterprises in particular; important notes for small and medium-sized enterprises to grow safely in the digital space...

Discussion session with experts.

Delegates also focused on discussing and sharing contents on digital leadership capacity of female entrepreneurs; the need to change management thinking and improve business management skills in the digital age; practical experiences in applying technology and innovation of female enterprises and entrepreneurs; ensuring information security in digital transformation as well as solutions and recommendations for women-owned enterprises in the current digital economic development process.

Overview of the workshop.

Through the workshop, we aim to equip women entrepreneurs with knowledge and help them update the development trends of digital technology , proactively apply technology effectively to change business models, corporate governance and ensure information security, towards sustainable development.
