The delegation inspected the facilities and teaching and learning conditions at a number of schools in the area; worked with the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee of the ward and schools to listen to reports, discuss and clarify the results achieved as well as difficulties and obstacles in education work.
In the 2025-2026 school year, Minh Xuan ward has 25 schools (including 22 public schools and 3 private schools); 497 classes/groups with 16,819 students. There are 754 staff, teachers and employees. The total number of classrooms in the ward is 396; of which, 380 are solid classrooms (95.96%), 16 are semi-solid classrooms (4.04%). The ward has 13/22 public schools with IT classrooms; 22/25 schools meet national standards...
At the meeting, representatives of Minh Xuan ward leaders and schools discussed the following contents: Some public schools, especially central schools, have a student-to-class ratio exceeding the prescribed norm; the teacher-to-class ratio in secondary schools is still lower than the prescribed norm of the Ministry of Education and Training ; some schools have to convert subject classrooms into classrooms, and still lack subject classrooms; solutions to handle school sites...
The locality also recommended that the relevant authorities should define the authority to consider and recognize junior high school graduation and organize the issuance of graduation certificates to recognized graduates to organize implementation in accordance with regulations; develop non-public preschool education; continue to support and invest in building facilities and teaching equipment; supplement the teacher staff for units that are lacking according to the norm...
The monitoring delegation acknowledged the results of localities and schools in overcoming difficulties and completing their tasks well. At the same time, they requested that schools focus on improving the quality of teaching and learning, ensuring the best conditions for the new school year; enhancing the preservation and effective use of equipment at schools. Localities should pay more attention to the needs and actual conditions of school units; pay attention to investing in facilities for schools; qualified teachers; focus on implementing policies and regimes for teachers; closely direct socialization work at schools...
The recommendations raised at the working session were received and compiled by the monitoring delegation and sent to the province and relevant authorities for consideration and resolution.
