Revealing new criteria for Vietnam ESG Awards 2025

(Dan Tri) - Vietnam ESG Awards 2025 applies a basic set of criteria according to the 3 pillars E - S - G evaluated according to the PDCA cycle, round 2 applies an advanced set of criteria, adding the category of science and technology application.

Vietnam ESG Awards is the highlight of the Vietnam ESG Forum. From September 4, the registration portal for the Vietnam ESG Awards 2025 officially opened, accepting applications from the business community and units that implement ESG or integrate ESG implementation into operations.

Entities interested in Vietnam ESG Awards 2025 can submit their registration here. The registration portal for Vietnam ESG Awards 2025 will close at 10:00 on November 5.

The evaluation criteria at Vietnam ESG Awards 2025 are divided into 2 sets: basic criteria and advanced criteria.

The basic criteria of Vietnam ESG Awards 2025 include 3 main pillars: Environment (E), Society (S) and Governance (G) with 20 indicators on each pillar. This criteria set is selected and agreed upon by the Vietnam ESG Awards Appraisal Council, including prestigious experts in ESG and sustainable development, based on international standards for measuring the level of ESG implementation in enterprises.

Compared to last year when it only stopped at answering "yes/no" to calculate points, this year's Basic Criteria Set has been upgraded with the evaluation method according to the PDCA cycle (Plan - Do - Check - Act), which means plan - do - check - act.

This assessment helps to more comprehensively reflect the level of ESG implementation of the enterprise, not only recording the presence of activities but also evaluating the process of planning, implementation, checking and action.

After passing round 1 with the Basic Criteria, the Organizing Committee will contact the units directly to guide them in preparing the Advanced Criteria. The Vietnam ESG Awards 2025 Evaluation Council will evaluate the round 2 applications and give the final results. The units that meet the criteria will be honored at the Vietnam ESG Awards 2025 within the framework of the Vietnam ESG Forum 2025.

Notably, the new point of Vietnam ESG Awards 2025 is to add a category to honor the application of science and technology in ESG implementation, with 15 criteria evenly distributed among the three components of environment, society and governance.

Steps to register for Vietnam ESG Awards 2025

Vietnam ESG Awards 2025 is part of the Vietnam ESG Forum 2025 with the theme "Science and technology and driving force for sustainable development".

After the launching ceremony of the Vietnam ESG Forum 2025, two large-scale workshops on the topic "Digital transformation solutions and ESG practices - Key to global economic integration" on June 24 and the workshop "Implementing ESG with AI: What should businesses do?" on August 14 in Ho Chi Minh City were held, attracting a large number of delegates to participate, with many interesting contents.

From now until the end of the year, the Vietnam ESG Forum 2025 will have many attractive activities and events such as seminars, workshops, talkshows, company tours... promising to bring valuable and useful information to organizations and businesses that are implementing ESG, interested in implementing ESG, and aiming for sustainable development.
