In Van Khanh commune, Mr. Lam Hoang Lam - Secretary of Kinh 5 Hamlet Party Cell is mentioned with respect by the people. Over the years, he has always linked Party building work with the task of developing new rural areas, focusing on environmental criteria. He and the Party cell members planted hundreds of meters of cotton trees and green trees along both sides of the main road of the hamlet. The members also regularly watered and shaped the hedges to be neat and eye-catching.

Gradually, the movement spread, people planted flowers together in front of their houses, forming flower roads and green hedges stretching out. Mr. Lam shared: "Doing Party work at the grassroots level, I think that creating a fresh, clean and beautiful living environment is a contribution to improving people's spiritual life. Therefore, the Party cell agreed to put the green, clean and beautiful criteria into the annual resolution, assigning each Party member to be in charge, and mobilizing households to implement it."

In Thanh Tien hamlet, Dong Hoa commune, Mr. Tran Van Cam - Secretary of the hamlet Party Cell is also considered the "keeper of the green soul" of the hamlet. Every day, despite being busy with work, he still takes time to visit each house to encourage people to take care of the trees along the road, prune the branches, clear the grass, and keep the road clean and beautiful. Talking about the initial idea, Mr. Cam said: "In the past, people had the habit of fencing their houses with corrugated iron or barbed wire, which was both expensive and unsightly. I thought, why not replace it with a green fence? So the Party Cell unanimously chose hibiscus, a plant that is easy to grow, easy to trim, and flowers all year round for people to do."

Not stopping at mobilizing, Mr. Cam and the Party cell also supported seedlings, guided planting and care techniques for the people. Up to now, Thanh Tien hamlet has more than 5km of hibiscus hedges, creating a fresh and friendly space. Many households also voluntarily bought more trees to plant and expand the flower route.

“When every house has a green fence, the neighborhood streets are clean and beautiful, people are happier and love their homeland more. However, planting trees does not mean they are beautiful. I always encourage people to regularly prune and care for them to maintain their longevity. Building the Party is not only about developing party members or completing the resolution targets, but also about arousing the sense of responsibility of each citizen towards their homeland. When people clearly see the benefits, they will voluntarily participate and preserve them,” Mr. Cam confided.

The flower-filled roads, the straight green hedges, the Party's footprints close to the people, are proof of the spirit of "Party members go first, the country follows". Those Party cell secretaries, with their concrete actions and their love for their homeland, have added a green color of hope to this fertile land. Today's "green" is not only the color of nature but also the color of the people's hearts, of the faith and devotion of Party members who are wholeheartedly devoted to their homeland.
