Building and replicating cultural models to practice civilized lifestyle in Khmer ethnic areas

From October 27 to 31, the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Library (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) coordinated with the Department of Culture and Sports of An Giang province to organize a training course on "Building and replicating cultural models to implement civilized lifestyles in weddings, funerals, festivals and community cultural activities in the Khmer ethnic minority area" in Tri Ton commune.

The training course was attended by nearly 90 trainees, who are leaders of departments, offices, political and social organizations of Tri Ton commune; Head of the Hamlet People's Committee and local people.

Trainees were informed about the principles and significance of implementing civilized lifestyle in weddings, funerals and festivals; typical models in Khmer ethnic areas were introduced. At the same time, methods of implementing and replicating the model were introduced; solutions to promote the role of the community in organizing cultural life were also introduced.
