Strengthening the handling of traffic violations in Phu Quoc special economic zone

These days, Phu Quoc special economic zone (An Giang province) is at the peak of its campaign to ensure traffic order and safety, moving towards implementing the project to build Phu Quoc special economic zone into a model unit in terms of security, order and urban civilization, contributing to making the "pearl island" Phu Quoc ready for the APEC Summit Week 2027.

Accordingly, from October 15th to now, Road Traffic Police Team No. 2 ( An Giang Provincial Police ) has conducted more than 100 patrols, focusing on routes where traffic accidents frequently occur. Thereby, nearly 500 violations were detected and recorded, including 319 cases of alcohol concentration violations; 50 cases of speed violations; and 17 cases of overloading and expansion.

In the coming time, Road Traffic Police Team No. 2 will continue to coordinate with Phu Quoc Special Zone Police to increase patrols, control and handle violations with the spirit of "no forbidden zones, no exceptions".
