When asked by reporters about the reasons for Manchester United's defeat against Grimsby Town, manager Ruben Amorim admitted: "Everything that happened today shows the problems at the club. The players should have done much better. I can only apologize to the fans."

"I think football was very fair today. The better team won. Now let's focus on the next match, and then there will be a break for the international break. We will think more carefully about it," said coach Amorim.

The Manchester United manager believes things are becoming overwhelming for him, and that the Red Devils' problems cannot be changed in just one summer.

"You can't change too much, you can't change everything in just one summer. We need to win and we can't have this kind of performance. I think this game almost pushed the team to its limit," coach Amorim shared.

When asked about goalkeeper Andre Onana's disastrous performance, coach Amorim said: "It wasn't Andre Onana's fault. The better team won, but they are a fourth-division team. The problem isn't with the goalkeeper. It's something bigger than that."
