Coach Kiatisuk was awarded the title of Outstanding Father of Thailand in 2023

Coach Kiatisuk is one of the prominent figures awarded the title of "Outstanding Father Nationwide" 2023 by the Royal Family of Thailand.

The awards ceremony was held on December 5th, which coincided with Father's Day in Thailand. This award honors outstanding fathers who possess kind hearts and serve as good role models for their children. Due to his work commitments at Hoang Anh Gia Lai (HAGL) club, Coach Kiatisuk was unable to travel to Thailand to receive the award.

Coach Kiatisuk said: "I am very happy to be awarded the title of 'National Exemplary Father' by the Royal Family of Thailand. This is an honor I never thought I would receive in my life."

The 50-year-old coach received many well wishes from his assistants, players, and fans on Father's Day.

Coach Kiatisuk and his wife Asarapa got married in 2022. They have three daughters: Kittaya, 21, Athicha, 20, and Mooktapa, 19. Coach Kiatisuk's eldest daughter is currently studying in Thailand, while the other two daughters are studying abroad in England.

Coach Kiatisuk accepted Chairman Duc's offer to return to lead HAGL from the end of 2020. Currently, Zico Thai and his wife live in an apartment provided by HAGL at the Ham Rong Training Center.

During their extended holidays, the couple often return to Thailand to visit family or go to England to visit their two daughters.

HAGL is currently at the bottom of the V-League 2023/24 table with only two points after four matches. In the fifth round, coach Kiatisuk's team will host Viettel FC at their home stadium in Pleiku on December 8th.
