Coach Park Hang-seo officially confirmed to be advisor of million-dollar football team in Vietnam

Through his management company DJ Management, coach Park Hang-seo has officially confirmed his appointment as the full advisor for the young but promising FC Bac Ninh team.

On its official website, DJ Management, the management company of coach Park Hang-seo, confirmed that the South Korean coach has completed the procedures to become a comprehensive advisor to FC Bac Ninh. Accordingly, in this advisory role, Mr. Park will decide on the necessary technical and administrative expertise to help Bac Ninh FC develop into a professional team. Coach Park Hang-seo stated: "After my contract (with the VFF) expired, I tried to contribute in some way to the development of Vietnamese football to reciprocate the affection I received in Vietnam. First, I established the Park Hang-seo International Football Academy and am currently training many promising players. FC Bac Ninh is my second project."

FC Bac Ninh is a newly established football team, expected to participate in the national second division league in 2024. The team from the Quan Ho region is considered a rising star in Vietnamese football. FC Bac Ninh has demonstrated its ambition by inviting coach Park Hang-seo as an advisor, alongside ambitious plans, including a commitment to investing millions of USD to operate the team. With this significant investment, FC Bac Ninh is renovating the Tu Son stadium to serve as its home ground and plans to establish its own youth academy. Coach Park Hang-seo will play a key role in guiding the future, supporting youth development, and operating the club to international standards.

The goal of this brand-new team is to compete in Vietnam's top football league, the V-League. The team is currently led by former SLNA club head coach Ngo Quang Truong .

To prepare for the new season, the team will recruit several players with V-League experience, such as former Vietnam national team player Dao Duy Khanh (who previously played for Quang Nam , Quang Ninh , Hanoi , and Hai Phong clubs). In addition, former SLNA captain Nguyen Quang Tinh has also joined FC Bac Ninh. Securing the signature of coach Park Hang-seo is seen as a reliable guarantee of the ambition and strong potential of this young but high-spending team.
