Two medical staff members, a nurse and a medical assistant from My Tho City Health Center, discovered over 20 million VND that had been dropped while on duty. They picked it up and returned it to the owner.

On November 12th, Dr. Do Thien Minh, deputy director of the My Tho City Medical Center in Tien Giang province, stated that they are preparing a proposal to send to the Department of Health to commend orderly Truong Thi Diem Trang and nurse Nong Thi My Tien for their commendable actions in finding lost property and returning it to a patient.

According to Doctor Minh, at around 10:15 AM on November 7th, Ms. Trang was cleaning in front of the ultrasound room of the outpatient and emergency department at the My Tho City Medical Center when she discovered a stack of money worth over 20 million VND that had been dropped in front of the ultrasound room, so she informed nurse Tien.

Afterward, Ms. Tien took the money from the newspaper to the head of the department and then brought it to the administrative office to find and return it to the person who lost it.

The administrative department extracted camera footage to find the person who dropped the money and identified Ms. Tran Thi Luon (54 years old, residing in Tan Binh Thanh commune, Cho Gao district, Tien Giang province) as the person who dropped the money while visiting a doctor. The money was then returned to her.

According to Mr. Minh, the honest and responsible actions of Ms. Tien and Ms. Trang are not only a shining example of professional ethics but also create a significant ripple effect in the healthcare sector of Tien Giang province.
