
To ensure the completion of tasks related to the merger of Tien Cam and Tien Son communes, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Le Van Dung - Head of the Steering Committee for the rearrangement of district and commune-level administrative units in Quang Nam province for the period 2023-2030, requested the Standing Committee of the Tien Phuoc District Party Committee to continue to effectively carry out the work of disseminating information and propaganda, creating high consensus among cadres and Party members, and gaining the agreement and support of all strata of the people regarding the policy of rearranging district and commune-level administrative units for the period 2023-2025.
The locality has done a good job of stabilizing ideology, maintaining solidarity and unity among party members, cadres and people of Tien Cam and Tien Son communes.
Focus on inspecting, monitoring, and handling the dissemination of bad information and false information that affects the implementation of the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws on the arrangement of administrative units.
Strengthening the spirit and responsibility of the heads of Party committees and government in leading and directing the implementation of tasks; the Vietnam Fatherland Front and mass organizations of the district should participate, coordinate, and support Tien Son commune in disseminating information and organizing the second round of voter consultations, to be completed before June 22, 2024.

Regarding the new headquarters of the new administrative unit after merging Tien Cam commune and Tien Son commune: In the first phase after the merger, to ensure the operation of the new administrative unit, both existing headquarters (Tien Cam commune and Tien Son commune) will be used for now.
The arrangement of working units is directed and arranged by the Standing Committee of the new Party Committee to ensure suitability with the actual situation and to create the most favorable conditions for people in the commune to carry out related administrative procedures.
After the new administrative unit becomes operational, the Party Committee and government of the new administrative unit will conduct a thorough survey and assessment of all factors, propose additions to the planning and investment plan, and allocate resources to build the office building in a suitable location, ensuring conditions for development and creating the most favorable conditions for the people in the administrative unit; at the same time, include it in the resolution of the Party Congress of the commune for the next term to focus on leading and directing its implementation.

The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department, and the Department of Home Affairs shall strengthen monitoring, inspection, and coordination to guide the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, the People's Committee of Tien Phuoc District, and the People's Committee of Tien Son Commune to organize the second round of consultation to ensure compliance with regulations.
Reportedly, after the voter consultation on June 2nd, Tien Son commune only achieved 9.83% voter agreement with the plan to merge commune-level administrative units in the district for the period 2023-2025; 2,230 voters disagreed (accounting for 88.42%). According to regulations, if the voter consultation results do not reach more than 50% agreement, a second voter consultation must be organized.
