According to statistics, in the first 3 months of 2024, Thanh Hoa City welcomed 481,000 visitors (international visitors are estimated at 12,500, domestic visitors are estimated at 468,500), an increase of 12.4% over the same period. Total revenue from tourism is estimated at 392 billion VND, an increase of 12% over the same period.

This result was achieved thanks to the city actively implementing many typical cultural activities and folk games such as: Calligraphy, painting, pottery making games, lanterns, clay figurine making, art programs every Saturday night, with the theme "Weekend rendezvous", at Hoi An park; "Old Tet in the ancient village" activities at Dong Son ancient village; wrapping banh chung, asking for calligraphy, lighting a campfire at Tien Son cave; cultural activities, Spring opening ceremony, word pulling game at Thai Mieu of Hau Le dynasty. From now until the end of the year, the city will organize many unique cultural activities and festivals. Thereby, contributing to promoting tourism, image and people of the city to a large number of friends and tourists.
