DNO - In document No. 9618/VPCP-CN, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha directed relevant ministries and agencies to finalize the investment plan for the construction of Lien Chieu Port in Da Nang city.
Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha requested the Da Nang City People's Committee to fully incorporate the opinions of the Ministry of Transport , the Ministry of Planning and Investment, and other relevant agencies to finalize the investment plan for the construction of Lien Chieu Port (Da Nang seaport), ensuring comprehensive, synchronized, modern, and optimally efficient development, maximizing the advantages of Da Nang's geographical location and development potential, and competing with other ports in the region.
Simultaneously, propose principles, criteria, methods, and forms for selecting investors to ensure the selection of capable investors; thoroughly review legal regulations on bidding, investment law, and other relevant laws; propose solutions for investors who have submitted valid applications; and develop an implementation plan to ensure the port project is put into operation in conjunction with the shared infrastructure as directed by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 435/QD-TTg dated May 3, 2021, approving the investment policy for the Lien Chieu Port Construction Project - shared infrastructure.
If necessary, the Da Nang City People's Committee will establish a working group, inviting representatives from ministries, agencies, experts, and scientists (Ministry of Planning and Investment, Ministry of Transport, Ministry of National Defense, State Capital Management Committee at enterprises, Vietnam Maritime Corporation, etc.) to participate in the research and refinement of the investment plan for Lien Chieu port.
The Ministry of Planning and Investment, in coordination with the People's Committee of Da Nang City, will review and resolve the case of investors who have submitted valid applications in accordance with the law; and guide the People's Committee of Da Nang City in carrying out the subsequent procedures in accordance with the law on investment.
