DNO- In document No. 9618/VPCP-CN, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha directed relevant ministries and branches to complete the investment plan for the construction of Lien Chieu Port, Da Nang city.
Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha requested the People's Committee of Da Nang City to fully absorb the opinions of the Ministry of Transport , the Ministry of Planning and Investment and the opinions of relevant agencies to complete the investment plan for the construction of Lien Chieu Port (Da Nang seaport) to ensure comprehensive, synchronous, modern, and optimally effective development, maximizing the advantages of geographical location and development potential of Da Nang City, and competing with ports in the region.
At the same time, propose principles, criteria, plans, and forms of investor selection to select capable investors; carefully review legal regulations on bidding, investment laws and other relevant laws to propose solutions for investors who have submitted valid dossiers; develop an implementation plan to ensure that the port project is put into operation in sync with the shared infrastructure part according to the direction of the Prime Minister in Decision No. 435/QD-TTg dated May 3, 2021 approving the investment policy of the Lien Chieu Port Construction Investment Project - shared infrastructure part.
If necessary, the People's Committee of Da Nang City shall establish a working group, inviting representatives of ministries, agencies, experts, and scientists as members (Ministry of Planning and Investment, Ministry of Transport, Ministry of National Defense, State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises, Vietnam National Shipping Lines...) to participate in the process of researching and completing the investment plan for Lien Chieu port.
The Ministry of Planning and Investment shall preside over and coordinate with the People's Committee of Da Nang City to consider and resolve issues for investors who have submitted valid dossiers in accordance with the provisions of law; guide the People's Committee of Da Nang City to carry out the following procedures in accordance with the provisions of law on investment.
