Conference on research, study and understanding of the book content of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong

On the morning of October 24th, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee held a province-wide in-person and online conference to study and thoroughly understand the content of the book "Building and Developing an Advanced Vietnamese Culture Rich in National Identity" by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

Attending the conference at the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee meeting hall were: Mr. Nguyen Tien Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; leaders of the Provincial People's Council and Provincial People's Committee; and leaders of provincial departments, agencies, and organizations. The conference was connected to 228 locations throughout the province, with over 15,000 delegates in attendance.

According to the program, after watching the documentary "Ho Chi Minh - Portrait of a Man," the delegates listened to Associate Professor Dr. Vu Thi Phuong Hau, Director of the Institute of Culture and Development, Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy, introduce the content of the book "Building and Developing an Advanced Vietnamese Culture Rich in National Identity" by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

This book is not only the intellectual product and heartfelt dedication of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, but more importantly, it is a systematic scientific work, integrating the thoughts, guiding viewpoints, speeches, and writings of the Party leader on the nature and characteristics of Vietnamese culture; on the role and mission of culture as an endogenous resource for development – the connection of culture with the economy , politics, and society; on preserving traditional and revolutionary cultural values; on cultural development in the new era; the central significance of human beings as creative subjects; the important role of artists and writers in cultural development; and its connection to building national values, cultural values, family values, and the standards of Vietnamese people.

Studying and learning the content of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's book "Building and Developing an Advanced Vietnamese Culture Rich in National Identity" contributes to raising awareness of the important position and role of culture in the sustainable development of the country and the sense of responsibility of those working in the cultural field in implementing the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and regulations, and General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's guiding views on building and developing an advanced Vietnamese culture rich in national identity, contributing to building and protecting the Fatherland in the new situation.
