Workshop "Current situation, influencing factors and solutions to improve the quality of inspection, supervision and discipline work of Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee"

On the morning of October 28, at meeting room No. 10 of the Provincial Conference Center, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee held a workshop on "Current situation, influencing factors and solutions to improve the inspection, supervision and discipline work of the Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee". The workshop was under the topic "Research on solutions to improve the quality of inspection, supervision and discipline enforcement work of the Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee" conducted by the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee.

Speaking at the opening of the workshop, Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Vinh, member of the Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee: With the goal of comprehensively assessing the current situation of inspection, supervision and party discipline work of the Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee, analyzing the causes and influencing factors and proposing a system of solutions to improve the quality of inspection and supervision work in the coming time and concretizing the core research contents of the topic, focusing on in-depth analysis of the existing problems and factors affecting the effectiveness and efficiency of inspection and supervision in practice; thereby clarifying the practical basis for recommendations and proposals. This workshop is an important forum for us to discuss and clarify the following issues: Comprehensively assessing the current situation of inspection and supervision work from the provincial to grassroots levels in the Provincial Party Committee; Analyzing factors affecting the quality of inspection and supervision work, including both objective and subjective factors. In particular, it is necessary to focus on clarifying the impact of converting the local government organization model to two levels; clarifying the level of influence of each factor on the quality and effectiveness of inspection and supervision activities; proposing feasible solutions with high practical applicability, suitable for the organizational characteristics of Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee, ensuring closeness to reality, long-term, especially focusing on groups of solutions on leadership, organization, coordination mechanism, improving staff capacity, applying technology, and enhancing training and coaching. ... This is an opportunity for delegates, managers, and inspection officers to exchange and share their dedicated, profound, and accurate opinions. Each opinion expressed, each presentation at the Workshop has high practical value, is a valuable source of material for the Project Management Board to continue researching and perfecting the content of the Project, meeting political and scientific requirements and tasks.

At the workshop, delegates listened to 6 presentations: The role of awareness of responsibility of Party committees in leading, directing and implementing inspection, supervision and Party discipline work - Current status of causes and impacts on the quality of inspection and supervision work of Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee; Analysis of subjective and objective factors affecting the inspection, supervision and discipline enforcement work of the Provincial Party Committee in recent times; Current status of facilities and organization, staff of the inspection committee, inspection committee agencies from the province to the grassroots - the relationship with the quality of inspection, supervision and Party discipline enforcement work; Directions and tasks of inspection, supervision and Party discipline enforcement work in Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee in the coming time; Solutions to improve the quality of inspection committees at all levels in advising and helping Party committees carry out inspection, supervision and discipline enforcement work of Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee; Solutions to improve the quality of inspection, supervision and party discipline work of Party committees, grassroots Party Inspection Committees and direct superiors in Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee in the coming time;

Concluding remarks by Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Vinh, member of the Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission: The workshop listened to the introductory report clearly stating the objectives and key contents of the workshop; followed and recorded many profound comments and speeches from delegates from the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, representatives of the Provincial Department of Science and Technology, Department of Localities II, Department of Research - Central Inspection Commission, Provincial Party Building Committees, Party Committees, Inspection Commissions of Party Committees directly under the province; representatives of leaders and staff of the Office, professional departments of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission; and experts and practical staff in the Party's inspection sector. The comments at the workshop focused on the key contents of the Topic such as: Assessing the current status of inspection and supervision work of the Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee in the past time, pointing out the shortcomings and limitations, deeply analyzing the causes, especially subjective causes from awareness, implementation organization to the quality of inspection staff; Clarifying the factors affecting the effectiveness of inspection and supervision work before and after July 1, 2025; Proposing many practical, specific solutions with practical application value in the Party's inspection and supervision work in the new period, especially in the process of building the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection and Supervision Strategy to 2030 and the following years. To ensure the progress and quality of the research topic, he suggested that: The scientific research group fully absorb, select, and synthesize the opinions expressed at today's workshop, as a basis for completing the content of the current situation report, analyzing influencing factors, thereby concretizing the system of scientific solutions, in accordance with the practical requirements of the province; The Office and specialized departments of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission continue to closely coordinate with the Project Secretary in processing information, data, reviewing documents, contributing to completing the content of thematic reports, serving the synthesis and building quality scientific products; Party committees and Inspection Commissions of Party committees directly under the province continue to pay attention, coordinate in sharing information, data, and practical experiences; participate in contributing opinions for the next product contents of the project, especially those related to the practice of inspection and supervision at the grassroots level.
