On the afternoon of August 25, at the Tran Nhan Tong Walking Street (Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi), the Hanoi Department of Tourism held the Closing Ceremony of the Hanoi Tourism Gift Festival 2024 with the theme "Hanoi Gifts".

Speaking at the Closing Ceremony, Ms. Dang Huong Giang, Director of Hanoi Department of Tourism, said that the Hanoi Tourism Gift Festival 2024 has many rich and attractive activities such as: activities at nearly 80 booths with spaces to introduce culinary gift products of 36 streets of Hanoi; spaces to perform, display and introduce unique handicraft gift products of famous craft villages in Hanoi.

The festival has a space to introduce products of tourism and travel service businesses; a space to experience craft villages; a miniature space for visitors to check-in with street performances, folk music performances and culinary workshops such as Coffee Making Workshop, Bartender Workshop "Hanoi Drinks", Folk Painting Workshop has attracted a large number of people in the capital and tourists.

The festival has received the attention and close direction of the Hanoi People's Committee, the especially close coordination of the Hai Ba Trung District People's Committee, the City's Departments, branches, and sectors, the People's Committees of districts, towns, and typical enterprises such as: Japan Tourism Promotion Agency in Vietnam, Thach That District, Dan Phuong District, Hanoi Tourism Corporation, and the Vietnam Royal Chefs Association.

Also according to the Hanoi Department of Tourism, the Festival welcomed representatives of the Vietnam National Tourism Administration, the Vietnam Tourism Association, representatives of the Korea Tourism Organization in Vietnam, representatives of the Japan Tourism Promotion Agency in Vietnam, leaders of departments, branches, districts, towns, socio-political organizations, craft village associations, tourism associations and clubs, artisans, central and Hanoi media agencies.

In particular, the Festival activities closely following the theme "Hanoi's Gifts" have created attraction and interest for tourists. A large number of domestic and international tourists came to the Festival to learn and explore the cultural story of Hanoi behind each gift; the booths and rich and vibrant cultural activities in the past 3 days have brought visitors the experience of enjoying and buying "gifts" which are typical dishes and drinks of Hanoi cuisine, which contain the quintessence of cultural identity and community life of Hanoi people, of the place that was honored to be voted as the best culinary destination in the world in 2024 by Tripadvisor - the world's leading online travel review platform.
