More than 200 booths gathered at the Red River Delta Industry and Trade Fair

On the evening of November 5, the 2025 Red River Delta Industry and Trade Fair opened at the Eastern Cultural Center Square, Hai Phong City with the participation of 110 units.

The event was organized by the Department of Industry and Trade of Hai Phong City in coordination with the Trade Promotion Agency ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ), lasting for 5 days (November 5-9) with the theme "Connection - Cooperation - Sustainable Development". This is a national trade promotion activity, taking place in rotation in the provinces and cities in the region.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Hoang Minh Cuong - Vice Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee affirmed that the fair is an opportunity for businesses and cooperatives to introduce OCOP products, typical rural industrial products, and goods with clear origin.

This is also an opportunity to promote cooperation between Hai Phong and other provinces and cities in the region, thereby expanding exchanges, promoting production and business links and sustainable development," Mr. Hoang Minh Cuong affirmed.

The 2025 Industry and Trade Fair has 210 standard booths of 107 units, agencies, and enterprises of the Red River Delta region of 7 provinces and cities, and of the Department of Industry and Trade, Department of Agriculture & Environment, and Trade Promotion Centers and Industrial Promotion Centers of participating provinces and cities.

In particular, the Department of Industry and Trade of Da Nang City installed a special booth area with 12 booths; the Center for Investment Promotion, Trade and Tourism of Son La province brought clean agricultural products of Son La to display at 20 booths.

The fair space displays a variety of product groups. Highlights include the industrial and handicraft products area with the region's strong products; the OCOP product area, typical agricultural and food products, bringing famous specialties such as Thanh Ha lychee, Hung Yen longan, Hai Duong green bean cake, Cat Hai fish sauce...

In addition, the exhibition area of ​​ornamental plants, fine art wood, and feng shui stones also attracts the attention of many people and tourists, demonstrating the unique culture and talent of artisans in the Red River Delta.

According to Mr. Le Hoang Tai - Deputy Director of the Trade Promotion Agency, this fair is not only an important economic and trade event, but also a practical activity in the context of the economy entering a new stage of recovery and growth.

"Hai Phong, as a logistics center and import-export gateway of the Red River Delta, is an ideal meeting point for businesses to promote their image, seek cooperation opportunities and jointly promote sustainable development of the entire region. We believe that the fair will create an effective trade bridge between businesses, production facilities with distribution systems and domestic and foreign investors," Mr. Tai shared.

One of the highlights of this year's fair is the Organizing Committee's integration of trade promotion activities on digital platforms. Along with the live exhibition space, the program "Livestream - Connecting brands with customers nationwide" was deployed, helping businesses increase promotion and expand their market in the digital environment.

In addition, the participation of special booths from Da Nang and Son La brought a unique regional experience space, enhancing inter-regional connectivity for the event.

In addition to product display and introduction activities, the fair also organizes many programs to connect trade, promote investment, and introduce OCOP products. This is an opportunity for businesses to find partners, sign contracts, and build a sustainable production - consumption - export value chain.

The Red River Delta - Hai Phong 2025 Industry and Trade Fair is part of a series of major trade promotion events that the city will implement from now until the end of the year, such as Hai Phong Promotion Month, Online Shopping Day, markets bringing Vietnamese goods to rural areas, etc. These activities are expected to contribute to stimulating domestic consumption, supporting businesses to recover production and business, and contributing to the city's double-digit growth target.
