Justin Timberlake suddenly revealed that he struggled with terrible pain

Justin Timberlake has revealed that he has been diagnosed with Lyme disease and shared about the difficulties he has faced during his recent 'Forget Tomorrow World Tour'.

Through two posts on Instagram Story, Justin Timberlake shared his diagnosis coinciding with the end of his world tour.

Fans recently noticed Timberlake looking lethargic and lacking energy during performances on the international leg of his Forget Tomorrow World Tour, but were unsure why.

With this post, the nerve damage and debilitating condition caused by Lyme disease has been confirmed as the primary cause of the above situation.

"I've been struggling with some health issues and was diagnosed with Lyme disease. I'm not saying this to get people to feel sorry for me, I just want to shed some light on what I've been dealing with behind the scenes. If anyone has ever had this disease or knows someone who has, they know that living with it can be mentally and physically debilitating," the Cry Me A River singer shared.

Timberlake also described how he felt when he was first diagnosed with Lyme disease. He revealed that he considered stopping touring but ultimately decided to continue because of his love of meeting audiences.

"When I first got the diagnosis, I was in shock. But at least I could understand why I was having terrible headaches or just feeling extremely tired or sick on stage. I was faced with a personal decision: Do I stop touring or do I continue and find a solution? I decided that the joy of performing far outweighed the temporary stress my body was enduring. I'm so glad I kept going," the singer wrote.

He added: "Not only have I proven my mental strength to myself, but I have had so many special moments with everyone that I will never forget. I have been hesitant to share this because I was always taught to keep things like this to myself. But I am trying to be more open about my struggles so that they are not misunderstood. I share all of this in the hope that we can all find a way to connect with each other more. I want to do my part to help others who are also suffering from this disease."

Timberlake wrapped up his Forget Tomorrow World Tour in Istanbul, Turkey, on July 30, more than a year after starting in Vancouver, Canada, last April. During the tour, the singer traveled through the United States before heading to Europe, Mexico, and South America.
