Latest results and rankings at National First Division 2025/26

VHO - Round 6 of the 2025/26 National First Division took place excitingly last weekend. The highlight was that the top two teams Khatoco Khanh Hoa and Truong Tuoi Dong Nai won to continue the race for the championship.

Khatoco Khanh Hoa 's 2-1 victory over Xuan Thien Phu Tho on November 1 created significant pressure for the remaining candidates competing on November 2.

And under pressure to win to avoid being left behind in the race, only Truong Tuoi Dong Nai Club and Quy Nhon United overcame to bring home 3 full points, while Quang Ninh and Bac Ninh Clubs "slipped" right on their home field.

Truong Tuoi Dong Nai Club had a very difficult match against Thanh Nien TP.HCM Club. Coach Viet Thang and his team were constantly behind and had many difficult moments against the youth and determination of the home team.

In the 74th minute, Minh Vuong and his teammates equalized the score to 2-2. In the 85th minute, Truong Tuoi Dong Nai Club had a goal to raise the score to 3-2, before the final goal to make it 4-2 in the 90+5 minute by Ho Thanh Minh.

Although it was difficult, coach Viet Thang and his team completed the very important task of winning all 3 points to keep up with Khatoco Khanh Hoa Club (14 points, compared to 15 points).

Quang Ninh and Bac Ninh clubs did not have as much joy as Truong Tuoi Dong Nai.

At home, Bac Ninh Club lost 0-2 to Van Hien University Club. Quang Ninh Club was better off when they kept 1 point after a 1-1 draw against Long An Club, although the home team's goal was 3 full points.

The unexpected results left Quang Ninh and Bac Ninh behind in the race, with the gap between them and the team at the top of the table getting wider and wider.

Quy Nhon United Club had an important 3-1 victory over Ho Chi Minh City Club to move closer to the top (temporarily ranked 4th with 10 points, right behind Ho Chi Minh City Club with 11 points).

In the bottom group, the race is still very "hot" when the clubs in this group are close together, only 1-3 points apart.
