Mr. Kieu Vinh Phuong - Executive Director of Project Management Board 4 (Vietnam Road Administration) - investor of the project "Investment in construction of the renovation and upgrading of National Highway 8A" said: At about 7:30 a.m. this morning (December 7), a landslide of about 200m3 of rock and soil blocked the road to Cau Treo International Border Gate in the area of the girl's waist at Km82+300, causing traffic congestion.

Project Management Board 4 mobilized 2 excavators, specialized vehicles and human resources to speed up the clearance of the landslide section.
By noon of the same day, the landslide had been cleared and traffic returned to normal.
