At about 5:30 a.m. on November 2, a large pine tree, over 20 meters tall, suddenly fell and blocked National Highway 27 at Km 204+400, passing through D'ran commune, Lam Dong province.

The above incident caused traffic from Phan Rang to Da Lat and vice versa to be partially congested.

Eo Gio Traffic Police Team, under Traffic Police Team No. 1, during the patrol, coordinated with the Police and Military forces of D'ran commune and local people to quickly trim tree branches and clear the fallen large pine tree to allow traffic to circulate as soon as possible.

The authorities coordinated to trim branches and clear the tree. After 2 hours, the accident that caused the road to fall onto Highway 27 was resolved and traffic returned to normal.

By 7:30 a.m. the same day, the accident leading to Highway 27 had been resolved and traffic returned to normal.

Authorities recommend that due to the complicated flood situation, vehicles need to calculate appropriate travel routes, and be especially careful when traveling through mountain passes because these places are prone to landslides and fallen trees blocking the road.
