One of the highlights of this success is the strong growth from the international tourist market, especially Russian tourists. In the first 8 months of the year, Khanh Hoa welcomed more than 220,000 Russian visitors, an increase of nearly 270% compared to the same period in 2024. Currently, there are about 30 flights per week from Russian cities to Cam Ranh International Airport, making Khanh Hoa the most favorite destination for Russian tourists in Vietnam.
This result is thanks to Khanh Hoa not only stopping at traditional experiences such as swimming in the sea, visiting island tours but also expanding to sophisticated cultural and artistic products. High-end resorts in Bai Dai (Cam Lam commune) also create their own features to attract tourists with art programs.

In addition, attracting international tourists to Khanh Hoa is expected to be even brighter when on August 11, 2025, the Government issued Resolution 229 exempting visas for citizens of 12 European countries with a temporary stay of 45 days. Up to now, Vietnam has exempted visas for citizens of 24 countries, promising to create a strong driving force for Khanh Hoa tourism in the coming time.
Along with that, the Government also issued Decree 221/2025 exempting visas for special subjects such as scholars, experts, scientists, investors, leaders of large corporations and enterprises in the world, as well as those working in the fields of culture, arts, and sports with positive influence, opening up opportunities for high-end tourism development.
Mr. Pham Minh Nhut, Chairman of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Tourism Association, commented: "The visa exemption policy for special subjects opens up great opportunities for Khanh Hoa tourism in designing high-end, personalized tourism products and products for the upper class. Khanh Hoa has high-class resorts such as Amanoi with the most luxurious villas priced up to 390 million VND/night, Six Senses Ninh Van Bay... with a lot of potential to welcome super-rich tourists".
