Opening of the 9th Provincial Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024-2029

Attending the first working day were Ms. Pham Thanh Tuyen, Deputy Head of the Southern Working Committee, Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Mr. Vu Dinh Long, Deputy Head of the Propaganda Department, Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

With the theme: "Solidarity - Democracy - Consensus - Aspiration - Development", at the first working session, the congress consulted to elect the Presidium, the congress secretary, approved the congress program, the congress regulations, and reported on the situation of delegates attending the 9th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Lam Dong province.

According to the activity review report, the 8th Congress for the 2019-2024 term has consulted and elected the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee consisting of 95 members. During the term, 8 times of consolidating and perfecting personnel were organized, thereby organizing consultations to admit 5 more member organizations, replacing and adding 19 members. Up to now, there are a total of 101 members.

At the conference, delegates attending the Congress discussed and commented on the draft Political Report at the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, commented on amending the Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Action Program No. 6 and continued to comment on the draft Political Report at the 9th Provincial Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024-2029.

Mr. Pham Trieu, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province, delivered the opening speech at the Congress.

The Congress also conducted consultations to elect 99/100 members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province, term IX, 2024-2029, and consulted to elect a delegation to attend the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024-2029, including 7 official delegates and 2 alternate delegates.

The Congress held the first Conference of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province to consult and elect positions in the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province, term IX.

The 9th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Lam Dong province, term 2024 - 2029 continued its second working session on the morning of August 16.
