Free medical examination and medicine distribution for people of Muong Leo commune

On October 25, Muong Leo Border Guard Station coordinated with the Volunteer Doctors Association (Hanoi) and Muong Leo commune to examine and provide free medicine to more than 1,000 people and students.

At the Program, more than 100 doctors from the Central Military Hospital, the Vietnam - Russia Tropical Center, Hung Vuong General Hospital and several major hospitals in the Northern provinces established 6 initial examination tables; 15 general and referral examination tables; 9 clinics for specialties: Eyes, testing, X-ray, ultrasound, electrocardiogram, obstetrics, ENT, dentistry, dermatology, pharmacy...

Doctors examine people.

Doctors advised and guided people to have regular health check-ups, practice the habit of eating cooked food and drinking clean water. They also instructed students of Muong Leo Primary and Secondary Boarding School on how to handle health situations, such as nosebleeds, burns, and how to brush teeth properly.

Eye examination for people.

Also at the program, the Delegation organized the "Books for Children - Luggage to Dreams - Reading Culture Exchange" program, giving away 1,000 books, stories; cakes, milk; haircuts, taking and printing souvenir photos for students. Giving 350 gifts to families in difficult circumstances; giving TVs and solar batteries to Muong Leo Border Guard Station. Organizing a cultural and artistic exchange program with the theme "The Great Forest Night Resounds with Songs". The total value of the program is over 500 million VND.
