Khanh Hoa: No tours organized on Binh Ba and Hon Chut islands

To ensure security and safety of Cam Ranh military base (Khanh Hoa), Hoi cape area, Binh Ba island, Chut island - Binh Hung island do not conduct or develop any types of tourism.

Recently, Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism issued a document to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (VHTTDL) of provinces and cities regarding coordination in propaganda not to organize tours on Binh Ba Island, Hon Chut - Binh Hung Island, Cam Ranh City, Khanh Hoa Province.

Accordingly, implementing Decision No. 44/2015/QD-TTg dated September 22, 2015 of the Prime Minister promulgating regulations on ensuring security and safety of Cam Ranh military base, Clause 4, Article 37 stipulates that "The area of ​​Mui Hoi, Binh Ba island, Hon Chut - Binh Hung island" does not conduct or develop any types of tourism.

In recent times, Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism has coordinated with departments, branches, Cam Ranh City People's Committee and related units to strengthen propaganda and dissemination to travel service businesses about not being allowed to organize tourism activities in "Mui Hoi area, Binh Ba island, Hon Chut - Binh Hung island". However, up to now, this situation still continues, in which some travel companies in some provinces and cities organize tour programs, promote on social networking sites to bring tourists to visit and relax at Binh Ba island and Hon Chut - Binh Hung island.

Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism requests the Department of Tourism/Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of provinces and cities across the country to propagate and disseminate to local travel service businesses not to promote, not to organize tour programs, tourism products visiting Binh Ba Island, Hon Chut - Binh Hung Island to tourists to ensure security and safety of Cam Ranh military base according to the Government's regulations in the above Decision.
