More than just a show, “Lim sunset” becomes a meeting place for the art-loving community of the Ancient Capital.

Organized by Hon Viet Event Company Limited, a very young unit, the HUE program not only brings a unique musical experience but also opens up an inspiring model of community art approach.

Hon Viet Event was founded by three young members: Hoang Tien Nghia (1996), Hoang Tien Hieu (2001) and Nguyen Dai Long (1999). Although newly established, the Company quickly attracted attention when launching the project HUÉ, an abbreviation of the French phrase “Harmonie Urbaine Éphémère” - a transient harmony between urban and emotional, where music meets Hue space.

HUÉ is a series of live sessions - a form of live recording and filming of a song or a performance, usually in a small space such as a studio or small stage, then released as an MV (Music Video ) or live performance video , creating moments of connection between art, people and everyday living spaces.

The first program of HUE just took place at the Lim Wood Bridge named “Lim sunset”, right at sunset time - when the sunlight dyed the whole Huong River and the poetic wooden bridge golden. The space has no barriers, no invitations, just simply sitting there, young artists of Hue perform, people, tourists walking around, people exercising… can all stop and enjoy.

The event attracted a large number of viewers, from those who came specifically for the artists and the music, to passersby who were suddenly attracted by the sound and emotional scene. What was special was that the audience stratification no longer existed - everyone stood and sat together in an equal, unlimited space, to experience the music together with the most genuine emotions.

After the success of the first show, Hon Viet Company said it will continue to perform live sessions at other typical locations of Hue such as Vong Canh hill, Tam Giang lagoon, Lap An lagoon, Tu Duc tomb... Each location will not only be the setting, but also the character of the performance - playing the role of storytelling, creating emotions and evoking memories of the ancient capital.

With this approach, HUÉ is not simply an art program but a new cultural communication model, combining heritage - art - people - tourism. HUÉ follows a subtle, spontaneous and intimate direction, bringing art to the audience in a gentle and natural way.

Not only introducing destinations, the project also contributes to supporting young local artists, the children of Hue who always want to contribute to the development of their homeland.

The birth of HUE reflects the creative spirit of the young generation of Hue, who are not afraid to start from zero, not afraid to experiment and break old molds to find their own path. In an art world that is increasingly commercialized, HUE chooses to return to nature, to emotions and to the community. Not colorful, not noisy, but full of poetry, life and love for the homeland.

From a sunset afternoon on the Lim wooden bridge, HUE has planted a seed of art in the heart of the city. And if that seed continues to be cultivated with the passion and perseverance of young people, Hue will certainly have a very unique cultural beauty in the current flow of life.
