Training course: “Innovating Business Models and Intelligent AI Solutions – The Key to Sustainable Growth for Startups and Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises”

On September 9-10, 2025, the Department of Science and Technology (S&T) of Cao Bang province, in coordination with the Management Board of the Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Agricultural Zone, organized a training course titled "Innovating Business Models and Smart AI Solutions – The Key to Sustainable Growth for Startups and Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises". Attendees included Mr. Nong Thanh Than, Deputy Director of the Department of S&T; Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue, Deputy Director of the High-Tech Agricultural Business Incubation Center; representatives from various departments, agencies, provincial business associations, the Investment and Entrepreneurship Club, the Youth Union, the Women's Union, the Cooperative Alliance, the Farmers' Association; leaders of the Center for Application of Advanced Science and Technology; officials from communes and wards in charge of S&T; and 50 participants from businesses, cooperatives, household businesses, individuals, and groups of individuals engaged in production and business activities in Cao Bang province.

The training course content includes: Concepts, nature, and role of innovation; Policies to promote circular economy in agriculture towards Net Zero; High-tech agriculture; Levels of innovation in the agricultural sector from traditional to high-tech, oriented towards Net Zero; Creative thinking and practical tools; Searching for new product development ideas and product levels; Innovating models in the context of digitalization and towards Net Zero; Designing the value ladder of products/services to the marketing funnel; Practical design of innovative business models; Introduction to lean and efficient AI tools for startups, evaluating new ideas, building business models, and automating basic tasks in business departments with AI.

The training course aims to equip businesses, cooperatives, household businesses, and individuals in Cao Bang with knowledge about business model innovation and the application of AI technology in production and business activities. Through this, participants will improve their management capabilities, optimize operations, and enhance competitiveness. The course also promotes digital transformation, contributing to the sustainable development of local businesses. Simultaneously, it creates an environment for networking, sharing experiences, and collaboration among participants. This is a practical step to support local businesses in adapting to the digital economy and innovation trends.

This training course is being implemented within the framework of Plan No. 349/KH-UBND dated February 14, 2025, of the People's Committee of Cao Bang Province on the implementation of the "National Innovation Ecosystem Support Project until 2025" in Cao Bang Province in 2025. This is especially relevant in the context of the whole country vigorously implementing Resolution 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024, of the Politburo on breakthrough development of science and technology, innovation and national digital transformation, and Resolution 68 dated May 4, 2025, of the Politburo on the development of the private economy.
