This activity focuses on promoting the transfer of new scientific and technological achievements, especially in priority areas such as agriculture , processing industry and environmental protection.

Science and technology to preserve Tam Soan rice variety in Kim Son district
Connect and promote technology application
According to the Center for Science and Technology Application and Innovation Support (Department of Science and Technology), the unit has just organized a conference "Connecting supply and demand of technology to support production, processing and preservation in agriculture".
Connecting and promoting technology application is considered the key for Ninh Binh to improve its competitiveness in the context of deep integration. The goal is to improve productivity and product quality, while enhancing the capacity for innovation and application of science and technology in production and business, making an important contribution to the sustainable socio -economic development of Ninh Binh province.
It is known that the focus of attention is on technologies related to Smart Agriculture. Many models of Internet of Things (IoT) applications in farming management were demonstrated, including sensor systems that monitor soil moisture, temperature and plant nutrition, helping farmers optimize the use of water and fertilizer.
Notably, post-harvest preservation and deep processing solutions have received great attention. Freeze-drying, heat pump drying, and irradiation technologies to extend the shelf life of agricultural products, retain their nutritional content and natural colors, are expected to solve the problem of "good harvest, low price" and enhance the brand value of the province's typical products such as rice, vegetables, and seafood.
In addition to agriculture, the event also emphasized the application of technology in waste treatment and environmental protection, especially in tourist areas and traditional craft villages. Solutions for treating domestic wastewater using biotechnology and models for converting organic waste into fertilizer were introduced, in line with the province's sustainable tourism development orientation.
Representatives of the Center for Application of Science and Technology and Support for Innovation affirmed that the technological solutions introduced at the conference will contribute to supporting businesses and cooperatives in promoting market development, production, processing, trading and consumption of agriculture. Through the conference, the Center will also record technological needs, recommend mechanisms, policies and solutions to strengthen the connection between quality management, ensure food safety, and increase processing associated with the development of agricultural, forestry and fishery markets in the new situation.

Promote connection and sign cooperation
The highlight of the program is the direct connection sessions between "supply" (scientists, technology companies) and "demand" (businesses, cooperatives).
Within the framework of the event, a series of in-depth consultations and technical consultations in each field took place. Ninh Binh enterprises had the opportunity to clearly present their specific problems and needs (for example: how to reduce energy costs in drying, how to trace the origin of products more effectively). From there, technology units offered solution packages, transfer services and training support.
As a result, more than 15 memorandums of understanding (MOUs) and preliminary technology transfer contracts were signed at the conference. The contracts mainly focused on installing automatic irrigation systems for high-quality rice growing areas and transferring clean food processing technology that meets safety standards. This demonstrates the strong determination of both sides in putting technology into practice.
According to the Department of Science and Technology, the unit is committed to accompanying businesses and localities with three key support groups such as: Support for research, application, and technology transfer; support for intellectual property, standards, measurement, and quality; support for connecting experts, technology providers, and businesses.
NAMI Agricultural Microbiological Technology Joint Stock Company (Hanoi); Nam Dai Duong Youth Cooperative (Ninh Binh); ECOZONE Company Limited (Hanoi); Egreen Technology Joint Stock Company (Hanoi); Center for Microelectronics and Informatics Technology - Institute of Technology Application (Hanoi) introduced technological solutions in smart agricultural production; environmental treatment, organic fertilizer solutions from golden apple snails and solutions to bring agricultural products to e-commerce platforms.

A representative of Rang Dong Light Bulb and Vacuum Flask Joint Stock Company (Hanoi) shared: The conference is an opportunity to promote activities of searching for and transferring high technology for farming and processing agricultural and aquatic products in the province, creating conditions and motivation to promote innovation, application of high technology in production, and improving the quality of agricultural products.
The Research, Application and Technology Transfer Support Program has created a significant boost for the innovation movement in Ninh Binh. By prioritizing key economic sectors, the event not only solves urgent technical problems but also opens up opportunities to develop high-quality, branded OCOP (One Commune One Product) products.
The event is a clear demonstration of Ninh Binh province's determination to use science and technology as a lever to restructure the economy, improve competitiveness and ensure sustainable development goals in the future.
