Representing the leadership of the two units, Associate Professor Dr. Tran Quang Tien – Director of the Vietnam Women's Academy – stated that the Vietnam Women's Academy , headquartered at 68 Nguyen Chi Thanh Street, Lang Thuong Ward, Dong Da District, Hanoi, was established in 2012 based on the upgrading of the Central Women's Cadre School, which has a history of development since 1960. Its mission is to train and cultivate cadres of the Vietnam Women's Union and female cadres in the political system; participate in training high-quality, multi-disciplinary human resources for the country; and carry out scientific and technological tasks, prioritizing research in fields related to women and gender equality.
The construction of the expansion of the Vietnam Women's Academy aims to meet the requirements regarding area and facilities as stipulated by law on higher education for university standards, and has been approved by the Prime Minister for additional area after its establishment. It will effectively serve the training, education, and scientific research functions and tasks; create conditions for autonomy and the implementation of the established development strategy; and contribute to improving the national human resource capacity.

The Vietnam Women's Museum , headquartered at 36 Ly Thuong Kiet Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi, was established in 1987. Its mission is to enhance public knowledge and understanding of the history and cultural heritage of Vietnamese women in life from the past to the present; to develop the museum into a center for cultural preservation and exchange, contributing to the goal of gender equality and the advancement of women.
Regarding the Vietnam Women's Museum, after expansion, the project meets the development needs of a national-level museum in an advanced and modern direction, serving the research, visiting, learning, and cultural enjoyment needs of the public. It also ensures the conditions for effectively carrying out its function of disseminating and educating about the historical and cultural values of Vietnamese women, contributing to the building of a new generation in the era of integration and national development, and meeting the goals of the Vietnam Cultural Development Strategy to 2030.
Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, Standing Vice President of the Vietnam Women's Union Do Thi Thu Thao emphasized: The Vietnam Women's Museum and the Vietnam Women's Academy are affiliated units of the Vietnam Women's Union that have always performed their assigned functions and tasks well, making increasingly innovative and practical contributions to the overall achievements of the Vietnam Women's Union in recent years.

After a period of diligent, serious, and responsible efforts in implementing compensation and land clearance activities, with the support, cooperation, and collaboration of the Gia Lam District People's Committee, Duong Xa Commune, and Kieu Ky Commune; the close and effective coordination of the Gia Lam District Land Fund Development Center; and the consensus and support of households in the communes, today the construction projects are officially launched. It is hoped that the set objectives will be completed soon so that the units can continue to effectively perform their assigned functions and tasks.
“The Vietnam Women's Union and the project implementing units highly appreciate the sharing and support of the local government and people over the past period. We hope to continue receiving the affection, support, and assistance during the construction phase so that the two projects can be completed on schedule, contributing to creating new opportunities in tourism development and enhancing the capacity of the locality,” emphasized Ms. Do Thi Thu Thao, Standing Vice President of the Vietnam Women's Union.

With the spirit and significance of constructing these facilities to enhance the capacity and contribute to building Vietnamese women in particular, and Vietnamese people in general, in the digital age, the age of equality and sustainable development, Standing Vice President Do Thi Thu Thao requested the Vietnam Women's Museum and the Vietnam Women's Academy to continue to closely coordinate with the local authorities; assign personnel to undertake tasks to accompany relevant units, closely monitor each item, urge, remind, encourage, exchange, and share information in a timely manner to best utilize practical opportunities to complete the work, ensuring the progress and quality of the project.
Ms. Do Thi Thu Thao, Standing Vice President of the Vietnam Women's Union, also requested that project management units, supervisory consultants, and contractors fulfill their responsibilities and duties according to the signed contracts with the investor to ensure timely and quality construction; comply with construction laws and regulations; ensure absolute labor safety and environmental hygiene; and establish good relationships with local people to facilitate the construction process.
