Construction of houses for two poor households in Kien Thiet commune affected by storms and floods began

On the morning of October 28, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kien Thiet commune, Tuyen Quang province organized a groundbreaking ceremony to build houses for two poor households affected by recent storm No. 10.

Construction of a house for Mrs. Pham Thi Quy, Dong Khan village, Kien Thiet commune started.

Two households were supported to build houses, including Mrs. Pham Thi Quy, Dong Khan village and Mr. Vang Seo Nha, Khuoi Khit village, each household was supported with over 65 million VND. The Commune Fatherland Front Committee connected with Vingroup Corporation to support each household with 60 million VND and Facebook page of Ms. Duong Trinh, Minh Xuan ward supported 5.1 million VND; the Military Command, youth union members and people in the commune supported construction days. These are two poor households with especially difficult circumstances, whose houses collapsed and suffered serious landslides in the recent storm No. 10.

Military forces, youth union members and people of Kien Thiet commune supported the groundbreaking of a house for Mr. Vang Seo Nha, Khuoi Khit village.

The houses are expected to be completed and put into use on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2026. This is a meaningful activity, expressing affection, sharing, and mutual love to help reduce difficulties, promptly encourage poor families, help them have solid houses, and soon stabilize their lives.
