| A large number of students at Yen Dinh Secondary School in Ngoc Duong commune were informed and introduced to the snub-nosed monkey species. |
This program is part of a series of environmental education and community awareness-raising activities implemented by the Center for Biodiversity Conservation and Endangered Species in localities within the habitat of the snub-nosed monkey – an endemic, critically endangered primate species found only in Vietnam.
During the experience, more than 200 students and teachers from Yen Dinh Secondary School participated in 5 learning and interaction stations: listening, reading, research, interaction, and creation. The stations were designed to be lively and engaging, helping students learn about the biological characteristics and sounds of the forest, research tools for conservation, and create paintings, poems, and slogans to promote forest and wildlife protection.

Mr. Vu Long, Director of the Center for Biodiversity Conservation and Endangered Species, said that the program was organized with the desire to bring nature closer to students in the snub-nosed monkey habitat, helping them understand that forests are not just green trees, but also the common home of all species. Through this, it aims to instill in the younger generation a love for nature and an awareness of forest protection, contributing to spreading the message of living in harmony with the environment.
