Launching a contest to create digital content to promote and honor Vietnamese tourism

The contest 'Galaxy AI understands Vietnamese, honoring Vietnamese tourism' not only connects technology with emotions, but also creates opportunities for young Vietnamese people to tell stories in digital language, with love and national pride.

The content creation contest called "Galaxy AI understands Vietnamese, honoring Vietnamese tourism " was launched in Hanoi on the afternoon of April 18, 2025.

The event, co-organized by Samsung Electronics Vietnam, the Tourism Information Center and the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, will last from April 18 to May 18, 2025, to inspire travel, especially for young people who love technology.

This is also an opportunity to open up new cooperation directions between the tourism industry and technology partners, contributing to building a smart and effective tourism ecosystem. The contest not only connects technology with emotions, but also creates opportunities for young people to tell Vietnamese stories in digital language, with love and national pride.

“ I believe that the contest 'Galaxy AI understands Vietnamese, honoring Vietnamese tourism' will be a useful playground for technology and tourism lovers, a place to nurture unique and creative ideas that contribute to introducing the beauty of Vietnamese tourism more widely and effectively. These initiatives will join hands to promote the passion for traveling to Vietnam, practically responding to the 2025 Tourism Development Stimulus Program launched by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.”

Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, Mr. Ha Van Sieu shared this at the ceremony to announce the cooperation and launch the contest.

The leader of the National Tourism Administration also believes that from the natural landscape, culture of 54 ethnic groups, to cuisine , festivals, lifestyles... all can become materials for Vietnamese youth to create impressive, unique products, with the support of modern AI. Therefore, the "handshake" between the National Tourism Administration and Samsung marks an important step forward in applying artificial intelligence to preserve, promote and spread the beauty of Vietnam.

“The Department will always accompany and closely coordinate with partners to spread the image of a friendly, attractive, and unique Vietnam to the international community,” affirmed Mr. Ha Van Sieu.

Deputy Director of the Tourism Information Center, Mr. Nguyen Duc Xuyen affirmed: “As the focal point for communications and digital transformation applications of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, in recent times we have promoted the application of technology to support state management, tourism business activities and improve tourist experience. In the current tourism industry, the application of technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution such as artificial intelligence (AI), big data, blockchain... is becoming more and more popular and bringing breakthrough results.”

According to the organizers, Samsung's Galaxy AI is a Vietnamese AI product created by Vietnamese people, bearing the mark of Vietnamese intelligence and cultural identity. Therefore, the contest is an important first step, encouraging the community to join hands in building a future where Vietnamese technology and culture blend together, together reaching out to influence./.

The contest includes three themes: honoring Vietnamese landscapes; honoring Vietnamese culture and people; experiencing Vietnamese tourism, with a total prize value of up to 300 million VND.

Contestants will use the AI app on the Galaxy S25 to record videos, take photos, and share their work on social media with the program's official hashtag.
